The Beers & Board Games Club of Columbus is on a mission to save kids through gaming! We’re participating in Extra Life, a worldwide fundraiser and 24-hour gaming marathon!
Since 2010, Extra Life has raised more than $14 million to help children’s hospitals. Our team is raising money for Nationwide Children’s Hospital – each year, they treat thousands of children, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few. Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids.
We will be putting in our 24 hours of game play on Saturday, November 7th, beginning at 11am at Zauber Brewing Company, which is staying open for 24 hours to facilitate our all-night gaming marathon (no alcohol sales after 2:30am, per Ohio law.)
Want to play and help?
1) Join our team on Extra-Life.org. Ask your friends and family for donations leading up to the event! Minimum fundraising goal per person is $200 – our team is trying to raise at least $2,000!
2) Show up to Zauber on November 7 with a suggested minimum donation of $20 and play! Bring coffee.
