7th Annual 24-Hour Board Game Marathon

The Beers and Board Games Club of Columbus will kick off our seventh annual 24-Hour Board Game Marathon at 11am on Saturday, November 6 at Olentangy River Brewing Company, running through 10am on Sunday, November 7. RSVP on Facebook!


Admission to this event will be $15 with 100% going to the kids! The 24-Hour Board Game Marathon will features hundreds of tabletop board games — from classic titles to brand new con releases, plus a stacked silent auction, the always-entertaining meta game, a tasty rotation of food trucks and of course delicious beer and coffee from ORBC! Gamers are welcome to drop in to play for a few hours, or stay for the entire 24­-hour event, which usually brings out 150-250 gamers! All attendees will be required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test result from the past three days, and masks will be required while not actively eating or drinking.

The event is part of Extra Life, a global 24­-hour gaming marathon fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Locally, the Beers and Board Games Club has raised over $45,000 for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, with the goal of raising an additional $10,000 this year. [UPDATE: We are at over $1,500! The Beers & Board Games Club hosts 5-6 meetups every month at Columbus craft breweries, and has raised over $60,000 for local charitable organizations.
