Do I need to be a member to attend / how do I join?

Nope! Our events are free to attend and open to all adults. We sometimes refer to our regulars as members but we have no formal membership fee or application and we’d love to have you join us!

Where and when do you host events?

We rotate between a variety of locations in Central Ohio and host an event every Wednesday plus periodic additional special events. You can view the full meetup schedule here.

What games do you play?

Game selection varies every event. Some folks lean toward light party/social games, some are in for a multi-hour strategy-heavy Euro, and most fall somewhere in between. We’re usually playing modern board games because there are so many great ones so classic titles like Monopoly don’t often make it to our tables but we’re not opposed to them! You can bring games if you’d like, or just show up ready to play. If you don’t know any of the games available, many people in our group are always happy to teach.

Can I show by myself or do I need to bring friends to play with?

Absolutely, most of us come alone! If you hover near the game table for a few minutes one of our friendly folks will usually be quick to invite you to a game, but if you arrive and everyone is already in a game you may have to wait a bit and feel free to spectate in the meantime! We typically get between 25-40 people at our regular weekly meetups so there should always be a group available to play with you.
